This is one of the documents I continuously updated in order to easily gather information for quarterly mailings. The document has multiple functions including checking on progress reports from care providers to maintain compliance with Kaiser Hospice requirements. A lot of the information has been removed or edited for patient safety.
My first long-term project was to consolidate nurse supply requests using Excel and analyze the results to determine if waste was occurring. I found that the current system was wasting about $10,000 and developed a report with ideas to improve the ordering system. This is one of about 800 requests that were analyzed.
This is a flier to a bereavement community event that I helped organize. I contributed to the flier development, mailing marketing resources, and incorporating promotion of the event into care calls. The event was successful with about fifty patients and guests in attendance.
